Can I serve hibachi, sushi, and Mediterranean food at one event?

Yes — that's the whole idea of SIFU x Aviv. SIFU brings the live hibachi and fresh sushi; Aviv brings the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern menu. It comes together as one order and one coordinated event, so your guests get three cuisines without you having to manage two separate caterers.

How many guests can you cater on the waterfront?

The Tel Aviv Waterfront lawn hosts private events for up to 200 guests. SIFU staffs to the size of your event — multiple hibachi chefs and service staff for larger crowds — so the food and the show scale with your guest count instead of bottlenecking at one grill.

How much does catering cost?

SIFU hibachi starts at $800 for up to 20 guests, with each additional guest at $50 — so 40 guests is $1,600 and 60 is $2,400. Every guest gets the full spread of three proteins (chicken, steak, and shrimp) plus the sides, not a stripped-down single-protein plate. A fresh sushi bar and full bar service are available as add-ons, and larger or premium events are custom-quoted. Aviv's Mediterranean dishes are added as a custom add-on based on your menu.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The quote you approve is what you pay — no surprise travel, fuel, equipment, or setup charges. Setup and cleanup are included in every event. Tax and gratuity are not included unless stated. That transparency is a deliberate difference from caterers who add line items after the chef arrives.

Do you provide bar service?

Yes. SIFU holds a Rhode Island Class P caterer's liquor license and can provide full bar service as an add-on — real cocktails, not just complimentary sake. It's priced the same tiered way as the hibachi, so a bar for 20 guests is straightforward to quote alongside your food.

Can you cater off-site, or only at the waterfront?

Both. SIFU is a fully mobile caterer serving Rhode Island, southeastern Massachusetts, and eastern Connecticut, so we can bring hibachi and sushi to your home or venue. The waterfront simply gives you a ready-made setting — and Aviv's Mediterranean dishes can travel with a SIFU booking for an off-site event, too.

How far ahead should I book?

The sooner the better, especially for weekends, summer dates, and graduation weekend, which fill fast. Text or call SIFU with your date and guest count and we'll confirm availability, usually within a day, and build the menu from there.
