Passover Catering in Rhode Island: Drop-Off from Tel Aviv Waterfront

For Passover we do drop-off catering from our partner kitchen, Tel Aviv Waterfront in Providence — a Jewish-owned Mediterranean restaurant that has been making a special Passover menu for its customers and friends for about ten years.
We do not do hibachi for Passover, and we'll explain why below. Drop-off starts at a $500 minimum.
Being straight about kosher certification
Tel Aviv Waterfront is not a certified kosher kitchen, and we're not going to describe it as one.
What it is: Jewish-owned, run by someone who has been cooking for Passover for a decade, with regular customers who order from him every year because they know him and know his food. That trust was built over ten years of the same families coming back, not through a certifying agency.
If your seder requires formal supervision, this isn't the right fit and we'd rather tell you now than have you find out later. If you're looking for good Passover food from someone who has been making it a long time for people who care about it, that's exactly what this is.
Why we don't do hibachi for Passover
It's worth explaining rather than just declining, because the reason is the food itself.
Hibachi is built on soy sauce, noodles, and rice. Soy sauce is typically made with wheat, noodles are wheat, and rice is treated differently by different traditions during Passover. Even setting aside the question of a kosher kitchen, the menu is wrong for the holiday at a basic level.
We could technically cook a plate of protein and vegetables on a griddle and call it Passover hibachi. It wouldn't be good hibachi and it wouldn't be right for a seder, so we don't.
Doing one thing properly beats offering everything badly.
How Passover drop-off works
Minimum order: $500
Format: delivered ready to serve, no chef or live cooking on site
Kitchen: Tel Aviv Waterfront, Providence, RI
Menu: set closer to the holiday each year — ask us for the current one
Ordering window: place your order well ahead; Passover is a fixed date and the kitchen fills
Delivery: within our standard service area, no travel fee
Passover falls on the same nights for everyone, which means every order in the region is for the same two evenings. It's the most constrained date in the calendar for a kitchen doing holiday food, tighter even than Thanksgiving. Order early.
What to ask us
Tell us how many people you're feeding, which night, and any restrictions in the group beyond the holiday itself. We'll send you the current menu and a flat quote.
If you have questions about how something is prepared, ask. We'd rather answer honestly than have you assume.
The rest of the year
Outside Passover, Tel Aviv Waterfront's Mediterranean menu is available as part of our regular drop-off catering, and it can be combined with dishes from our other kitchens — including hibachi and sushi — delivered together as one order from a $500 minimum.
For an event where hibachi is right, that's a different conversation and we're happy to have it.
